Banking data migration to AWS

A legacy MySQL dataset needed to move into the cloud as part of a larger banking data migration, with accuracy verified at every step.

Owned the migration end to end — schema discovery, transfer, and validation.

Migrated the dataset via AWS Lambda, configured Glue Crawlers to automate schema discovery and keep the Data Catalog current, then wrote validation queries in Athena to confirm source and target matched.

CSV ingestion & transformation pipeline

Incoming CSV datasets were inconsistent — duplicates, nulls, and no repeatable process to get them analytics-ready.

Migrated a 1,000+ record MySQL dataset to AWS as part of a banking data migration, then built a Lambda-based Python pipeline to ingest and clean CSV datasets, converting output to Parquet for cheaper, faster downstream queries.
